This is a personal website. This policy explains what data is collected, why, and how it is used.
This website is owned and operated by a single individual (the "Owner") as a personal, non-commercial horological archive. References to "we", "us" or "the site" refer to the Owner.
Registered users: when you create an account, we store your email address, name, and account preferences (such as your newsletter consent and any profile details you choose to provide). Authentication is handled by the platform provider.
Sign-in with Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and the name associated with your Google account. We use this information solely to create and identify your account on this site. We do not access, read, or store the contents of your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google service. You can revoke this site's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account security settings.
Non-registered visitors: if you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email and message you provide. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email and consent status.
Automatic data: the site may collect standard technical data (such as browser type and approximate region) through the hosting platform for security and basic analytics. We do not use this to identify individuals.
To respond to your inquiries, offers or trade proposals.
To send occasional newsletter dispatches, only to those who have explicitly consented. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To display comments you choose to post on journal entries, including your display name and avatar.
To maintain the security and proper functioning of the site.
We process your data based on your consent (for example, when you submit a form or subscribe to the newsletter) and on our legitimate interest in running this personal archive and responding to communications.

Contact form submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping. Newsletter consent and account data are kept until you request deletion or unsubscribe. Comment content remains visible as part of the public archive unless removed.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Registered users can manage their profile and newsletter consent directly from their account. For any other request, contact the Owner at the email address shown in the footer.
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
