Hoga Directime.

While Hoga produced several jump-hour watches, the "Directime" name was reserved exclusively for models featuring a specific in-house innovation. In 1955, owner James Choffat patented a proprietary jump-hour module. Unlike standard off-the-shelf horizontal layouts that place the discs side-by-side on parallel axes, Choffat's module utilized centrally stacked, concentric discs. This engineering approach created the distinctive "vertical" or "chevron" display sweeping down the center of the dial.

Mechanically, the watch relies on a traditional base caliber for the core timekeeping (mainspring, gear train, and escapement), with Hoga's patented spring-lever module sitting on top to drive the display.

Its 34mm cushion case is a perfect snapshot of late 60s and early 70s retro-futuristic design.
