Why I bought it
My father received a vintage Seamaster when he became a combat pilot. Owning the modern version is my way of keeping that story alive.
Among all the watches in my collection, this one carries the greatest emotional significance. This Omega Seamaster 300 is a modern interpretation of Omega's legendary 1957 dive watch, combining vintage design with a state-of-the-art Master Chronometer movement. Its clean proportions, broad-arrow hands and classic bezel capture everything I love about timeless tool watches.
But the real reason it belongs in my collection goes far beyond its specifications.
When my father graduated as a combat pilot, he was issued a vintage Omega Seamaster. I purchased this watch new in 2026, complete with its papers and travel box. Every time I wear it, it reminds me not only of Omega's rich history, but also of my father's courage, service, and the story that inspired my appreciation for mechanical watches.
