Fair vintage condition. The watch presents noticeably better in person than in the photographs. The case shows age-related wear and scratches, while the crystal is heavily scratched and would benefit from polishing or replacement. The dial and applied markers show visible ageing. The watch is currently not working and requires inspection and likely service or repair. It is therefore being offered as a non-running vintage watch.

Despite its compact 25 mm case, this is a surprisingly sophisticated mechanical watch. The 17-jewel automatic movement runs at a high-beat 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides both day and date indications.
The dark blue dial carries the Automatic, 17 Jewels and Hi-Beat signatures, with applied baton markers and the day-date display at 3 o'clock. The caseback identifies the watch as reference 2206-0170 with serial number 350461, consistent with production in May 1973.
This example is in fair vintage cosmetic condition and looks considerably better in person than the close-up photographs suggest. It is currently not running and will require attention, making it best suited to someone looking for a small restoration project or an affordable vintage Seiko Hi-Beat.
Based on current comparable examples and taking its non-running condition into account, I estimate its present market value at approximately $40.
