Condition
Good vintage condition. Grey sunburst dial with visible age-related spotting and luminous plots. Date at 3 o’clock. Stainless steel C-shaped case with fluted white-gold bezel. Fitted with a black leather strap.
The C-Case Constellation was one of Omega’s characteristic designs of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
This example has a grey sunburst dial carrying the applied Omega logo, “Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified” text, Constellation signature and star, with the date positioned at 3 o’clock.
The stainless-steel case uses the distinctive integrated C-shaped design that gave this generation of Constellations its nickname. A contrasting fluted white-gold bezel adds a more formal element to the otherwise very 1960s case design.
The watch is powered by an automatic chronometer movement. The exact caliber has not yet been confirmed from a movement photograph, so I prefer to leave the caliber unspecified rather than assume it from the external configuration.
