Condition
Good vintage condition with age-related patina to the silver dial. Black Arabic numerals, blued hour and minute hands and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. Stainless steel case with visible signs of age and use. The movement is an Omega Cal. 26.5 SOB T2, 15 jewels, serial no. 8,430,332, dating the movement to approximately 1934–1935.
This Omega dates to approximately 1934–1935, decades before names such as Seamaster, Constellation and Speedmaster became central to the company’s identity.
The design is typical of the period: a compact 33 mm stainless-steel case, silver dial, clearly printed Arabic numerals, blued hands and a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock.
The movement photograph allows the watch to be identified much more precisely. Inside is Omega’s manual-wind Caliber 26.5 SOB T2 with 15 jewels. The movement carries serial number 8,430,332, placing its production around 1934–1935.
The dial has developed visible age and patina rather than remaining artificially pristine, while the blued hands and detailed seconds track retain much of the character of a 1930s wristwatch.
